From the large surface area to the smooth finish, and even down to the pattern of the wood grain, it is everything that I had envisioned when designing this new workspace. There is something about having solid wood as a tabletop that makes working at it feel so much more relaxing and enjoyable. While I still prefer sitting while working long hours, I do appreciate having the option of adjusting my desk to a standing height and forcing myself to be more active. Oh, and did I mention how convenient it is to have castors underneath your desk?
