In our two mom family, we have always celebrated Mothers’ Day on the same day, but this year, we are going to split the weekend so we BOTH get a full day! I imagine MY Mother’s Day will look something like this- by the ocean! I’m so excited to do it this way because now I can actually plan a full day out for Micaela with the kids instead of just planning a day together. I used to push the kids around town in a double stroller and have one kid in a backpack. Seriously. That is how I would get around with three kids on my own. And look at them now!🤩 I can’t believe we have kids old enough to hike all on their own! They love being outside, and sharing our love for hiking with them has been such a special experience. Everytime we go, I feel like they get stronger, can go longer, and surprise me with their endurance. Those little legs can GO!
